Statement

The Amazon Blink camera footage, together with the repeated and unnecessary involvement of law enforcement and the filing of police reports, establishes a clear and ongoing pattern of harassment and defamation of character directed toward us.

​

These accusations are entirely unfounded. We unequivocally state that we have never taken, withheld, or tampered with any individual’s mail, including that of the complainant, nor would we ever engage in such conduct.

​

In contrast, video evidence in our possession shows the complainant’s husband, Johan, on multiple occasions accessing our mailbox and handling mail addressed to us. Despite this conduct, we have chosen not to pursue any complaint or legal action, recognizing that mail delivery errors can occur and that such situations are often the result of simple mistakes.

We further acknowledge that postal workers and delivery personnel are performing their duties and may occasionally leave items at an incorrect address, with the reasonable expectation that neighbors will resolve such issues amicably.

Given these facts, the continued allegations and involvement of law enforcement are unwarranted and have caused reputational harm. These actions constitute harassment and defamation, as they are based on false claims and disregard clear evidence to the contrary.
